Yamirah Gercke is a Berlin-based guitarist known for her cinematic Jazz Pop music. She furthered her education at the University of Northern Colorado and Berklee College of Music, earning a Bachelor of Music in Performance on Guitar with a focus on Composition. She has released albums in Germany with the Band Bad Ass Freaks “Neighbors” as well as her own Projects “Pressure” and “Nowhere Local”. The song “Pressure” has been successful and gained notoriety with the music video and won awards such as Award Winner of Indie Visions Film Festival. Relevant musicians she has played with are Sara Hartman, Fem Jam Collective, Kamila Csenge Quartet and Mariama, Tuvaband, Su Terry, Cisco Pema, Bad Ass Freaks and Ina Forsman. She is touring in her newly formed trio Yamirah’s Solar Explorers. Currently she is establishing the Record Lable “Fat Banshee Records” to change the Music Industry for the better. It’s a Label for Artist from Artists. She is also supporting the Team at Random Musick Publishing with a plethora of Tasks.
