TOM THIEL
Tom Thiel began his career as a recording engineer in Bavaria during the vibrant eighties, working for Marc Almond, DAF, ELO, Yello and many more. Moving to Berlin in 1987 he became a member of Fischerman's Friend, which released one album on Phonogram. Following the band’s disbandment in 1991, Max Loderbauer and Tom founded SUN ELECTRIC. They released five studio- and two live-albums (on R&S, Shitkatapult and Arjuna Music) and toured throughout the world, pioneering live electronica on stage in the early nineties. Post-SUN ELECTRIC / S.E. in 2001, Tom teamed up with his friend Daniel Meteo founded BUS, with part-time member singer/rapper Soom-T from Glasgow. They released two albums under Scape and one under Shitkatapult. In 2011 Tom released his first Solalbum “Tom Thiel” on Shitkatapult, followed by “Album” in 2023 under Arjuna Music.
