SHRUBBN!! was founded in 1995 by Marco Haas (T.RAUMSCHMIERE) and Ulli Bomans (SCHIERES), aiming to create dirty, swinging improvisations naming it ROTZPOP!! They recorded their results on a stereo tape recorder, releasing their first demo in 1997. They later appeared on vinyl compilations under the label SHITKATAPULT. After pursuing solo projects, they reunited in 2006, releasing EPs with a dancefloor-oriented sound. In 2009, they returned to their roots, recording analog material for an album titled “Echos”,released in 2012, they contacted their friends Thomas Fehlmann & Dr. Alex Paterson aka The Orb to get an epic and mind tripping remix done for the first ep oft he Album. Their latest album, “Europa”, influenced by small European towns, was released in 2016, on SHITKATAPULT.
