SAMUEL WIESE
Samuel Wiese, born in Berlin, began his career as a sound and video technician at the Centraltheater Leipzig in 2012 and 2013. During this time, he was responsible for the sound design of Alexander Eisenach's production “Herz der Finsternis” and the live video editing of Sebastian Hartmann’s production “Der große Marsch”. Transitioning to DJing and electronic music in 2014, he furthered his expertise by studying sound engineering and sound design in Berlin from 2017 to 2018. Continuing his collaboration with Sebastian Hartmann, he worked on projects like “Schuld und Sühne” and “Der nackte Wahnsinn + X” at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden, as well as "Lear" and a streaming version of “Der Zauberberg” at the Deutsches Theater Berlin, which was featured at the 2021 Theatertreffen. In 2021, he began a new collaboration with Sarah Kurze and closely collaborates with Philipp Thimm. Since 2024, he has been releasing techno music under the alias “REGLER” and opened the Berlinale in the same year. Additionally, he wrote the score and sound design for the short film “Stadtmuseum / Moi Rai” by Boris Dewjatkin, which received an invitation to the Berlinale.
