Pink Shabab’s is creat by the musical mind of London-based songwriter/bassist Joseph Carvell. He makes a comback to Karoke Kalk under the name Pink Shabab. From 2019’s “Ema by the Sea”, “Last of the Boys” is full of subtle melodic and harmonic naunces that even at its most uplifting or melancholic points creat a profound open album.  From a jazzy-house hybrid to diary-like spoken word vocals, the track takes unexpected turns, evolving into a rich sonic landscape. As it fades into echo, one can't help but marvel at the journey it took, leaving the listener captivated by its allure. In the composition process, Joseph emphasizes notable advancements, including the integration of more piano sounds into his songs. He honed his piano skills by playing along to classic Beatles and Beach Boys tunes.
