Daniel Meteo is a prominent figure in Berlin’s music scene, with a diverse portfolio of projects including Bus, MM Digi Dub, Submission, Meteo / Thiel, and solo work. He’s also known for his DJing on the Oceanclub radio show, running Meteosound imprint, and co-owning Shitkatapult now Random Noize Musick. Nowadays, he focuses on music publishing and consulting. His discography includes “Middle of the Road” and “Feelin Dank” with Bus, and solo albums like “Peruments” and “Working Class”. He’s also done remixes for The Orb, Apparat, and Masha Qrella. Meteo has navigated various roles in Berlin’s music scene: agent, promoter, curator, label owner, consultant, and music publisher, as well as guitarist, DJ, performer, and producer. With Tom Thiel (Sun Electric), he released albums and Ep’s under the alias BUS on Berlin labels Scape and Shitkatapult, as well as two solo albums. Since the pandemic he returned his work as Guitar player and is a member of the new Berlin post-kraut trio YELKA, who released several albums on Jazz/Soul imprint Fun In The Church (by Staatsakt) and actual on Karaoke Kalk with their newest album FOR, for fall 2024 another album is planned called DIANE.
